Help for young carers

The charity Barnado's believes thousand of young carers in the United Kingdom are going unnoticed, and it's thought the situation is similar here.

The Hidden Lives survey polled 1,000 teachers and 72% thought child carers hid their situation from them, and 75% thought they didn't tell their peers.

Crossroads Young Carers is currently working with 81 youngsters in the Isle of Man, providing a range of activities away from the home.
