by isleofman.com 9th November 2006
A motorcyclist from Glen Vine was taken to Hospital last night after an accident outside the Crosby pub.

It happened at around 10pm as he was riding his Benelli scooter towards Douglas, and police closed the road from its junction with the Glen Darragh Road to the Ballacraine traffic lights whilst they dealt with the incident.

The road opened again after midnight.

One other vehicle, a blue Honda Civic driven by a man from Glen Vine was involved in the accident. The driver wasn't injured.

The extent of the biker's injuries aren't currently known.
