Witnesses sought in Abbeylands

by isleofman.com 7th November 2006
Police have appealed for witnesses to a string of crimes committed after a party at Abbeylands in Douglas on Saturday night.

Officers say a number of acts of vandalism and criminal damage were committed by partygoers, and objects left in the road as hazards to motorists.

Emergency services had to attend the party a number of times, and three ambulances were called to the property as hundreds of revellers gathered.

One local woman was turned away by doormen but said the scene outside the party was chaotic:

If you have any information on criminal damage caused to a telephone box, to a number of vehicles and to a local garden, you can contact police on 631212 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
