Corkill back in court

by isleofman.com 6th November 2006
Julie Corkill is due to appear in court again tomorrow after being convicted of four charges relating to obtaining toursim grants for work on her home.

She was found guilty of three charges relating to the submission of invoices she knew hadn’t been paid and submitting an estimate she knew to be false.

Corkill is due to be sentenced by High Bailiff Michael Moyle.

He adjourned the case until tomorrow morning after defence advocate Dawn Jones asked for time to consider his verdict.
