Police appeal to burglars

by isleofman.com 2nd November 2006
Police have appealed to thieves to hand in ?10,000 of jewellery stolen in a burglary at Noble’s hospital doctors’ accommodation last month.

Thieves targeted the house next to the old Union Mills football fields while the occupants were away on business and stole the valuables which are used in Asian weddings.

But Constable Barry Hand of Onchan police says the haul will be very hard to dispose of as it’s immediately recognisable.

He appealed to those responsible to return it, and explained what’s so special about the items taken.
