A 40 year old woman from West Baldwin, in the centre of the Island,
has been arrested after heroin estimated to be worth about ?2000 was found.
The police operation, by members of the CID assisted by uniformed colleagues, was targeteting the street supply of heroin on the Island.
Cash was also recovered in the swoop. The woman is at police headquarters helping with inquiries.
