Guilty of drugs charges

Two people have pleaded guilty to drugs charges at the Court of General Gaol.

Simon Stowell, who is 23 and from David Gray House, admitted producing MDMA and possessing the drug with intention to supply in May this year.

He was granted ?1,000 bail with a ?5,000 surety, put under a curfew, ordered to report to police headquarters daily, and barred from on-licensed premises.

Helen McNicholl, 19, from Mill Street in Castletown, pleaded guilty to similar offences.

She was bailed and put under similar restrictions as Stowell.

Deemster Doyle will sentence the pair next month.
