Assaulted man sought

Police in Douglas want to trace a man who was assaulted outside a nightclub early yesterday (Sunday) - but who left the scene before officers arrived.

They believe he was the victim of an unprovoked attack outside the Outback nightclub in Barrack Street at around ten past one in the morning.

One man has been arrested.

Police say there were a large number of people in the area at the time and want to speak to anyone who witnessed events before or during the attack.
