Douglas Decaff - new drop-in centre

A new drop-in centre for people suffering memory problems has opened in Douglas.

Douglas Decaff was launched on Friday by DHSS Minister Steve Rodan and hopes to help those suffering from or caring for somebody with dementia.

Mr Rodan says the aim is to provide an informal atmosphere where people and carers can get together socially instead of at clinics.

And if successful, Mr Rodan (pictured) says the service could be set up elsewhere in the Island:
