by isleofman.com 29th October 2006
Police have released the name of the little boy who died in a road accident near the Horse Tram Depot in Douglas earlier this week.

He was four year old Liam Hall, from Ware in Hertfordshire (pictured).

It's understood he was on holiday in the Island with his parents, visiting relatives.

The tragedy happened on Thursday afternoon when Liam was hit by a mobile crane as it travelled along King Edward Road towards Port Jack.

Dozens of flower bouquets have been left at the scene by members of the public saddened at Liam's death.

The Coroner has been informed and an inquest will be held in due course.
