Help the lifeboats

by isleofman.com 25th October 2006
The RNLI is asking for your help at a fundraising day in January.

Organisers are hoping to raise ?10,000 during the SOS Fundraising day which will provide training for lifeboat crew members.

Fay Comber-Jones says the RNLI needs ?1,000 per crew member per year to maintain training levels.

The campaign is called Train One, Save Many, and Mrs Comber-Jones says the cash will be used both off and on-Island.

If you’d like to get involved with the fundraising, you can find out more on the internet at www.rnli.org.uk/sos
