Lottery winner celebrates

The Isle of Man's first lottery millionaire has been celebrating at a champagne reception at the Castletown Gold Links.

62 year old Jimmy Goodwin from Ballasalla scooped over 1.2 million pounds in Friday's Euro Millions draw.

He was presented with his cheque by Camelot's Head of Player Services, Dot Renshaw, who flew over to the Island this morning to congratulate him.

Mr Goodwin, a steelworker at Ronaldsway Aircraft Company, has already handed in his notice and plans to spend his time doing his favourite pursuits.

But he says he's in no rush to decide what to spend his new-found wealth on:
