Firework advice for retailers

The Isle of Man Office of Fair Trading is working to ensure shop owners are storing fireworks in a safe manner in the run-up to this year's Bonfire Night.

That's according to OFT Chairman Quintin Gill, who says all licensed retailers have been, or will be visited by OFT inspectors before November 5th.

The office is working with the police and fire services as usual to promote fireworks safety on the Island.

Mr Gill (pictured) says there are a number of things retailers should check when choosing how to store and display fireworks:
