Island scouts take part in jamboree

The Island's scouting movement went online last night (Saturday) when it took part in the World Scout Jamboree on the Internet.

Nearly 30 members of the 1st Douglas Cushag Cub Pack connected with thousands of other members around the world.

The pack was based at the Sea Terminal in Douglas where it spent the evening accessing its wireless internet service and playing a series of games before sleeping not quite under the stars in large tents.

Acting scout leader, Colin Brew, said it was a lot of fun for all involved (audio file attached):
