Unroadworthy cars warning

by isleofman.com 20th October 2006
Police are warning motorists they’ll be on the lookout for bangers which are not fit for the Island’s roads.

New figures show accidents have fallen by 12% so far this year compared to 2005, but police say they’re determined to reduce the rate still further.

In particular, they’ll be out with the Department of Transport carrying out vehicle inspections and looking for unroadworthy cars.

Inspector Carolyn Kinrade says the message is simple.
