Jurby plans on display

by isleofman.com 20th October 2006
Today’s (Friday) the last chance to see plans for new homes in Jurby.

It’s the final day of a Department of Local Government exhibition at the village hall.

As part of a blueprint to revitalise the village, 100 homes and facilities could be built on 20 acres of former Ministry of Defence land.

Future phases could include plots for low-energy housing, while the department will also construct four bungalows for older public sector tenants.

The exhibition is open from six o’clock this evening to 8pm.
