Hotelier calls for more tourism promotion

A Douglas hotelier says the Department of Tourism and Leisure should be increasing awareness of the Island, and encouraging year-round tourism.

Mr George says he was stunned to hear recent comments from DTL officials that its up to individuals to fill bed spaces.

He doesn't think the department is doing enough to attract visitors:
