Health and safety - a 'climate of fear'

Speaker of the House of Keys Tony Brown says new Health and Safety regulations have given the building industry a 'climate of fear'.

Speaking after a debate on Health and Safety in Tynwald yesterday, Mr Brown called for the legislation to be simplified.

He says current regulations cost too much to enforce and could put the construction industry in difficulties.
