Think again over landfill, Government urged

The Middle MHK has launched a two pronged attack on the Government over its landfill tip plans.

Martyn Quayle (pictured) has tabled a Tynwald motion, as well as a question, about what progress the Department of Environment has made on the Archallagan proposals.

Mr Quayle says he was assured a planning application would not go forward until the Treasury go- ahead was recieved.

He says an alternative site is available and should be considered (audio file attached):
