Harvest thanksgiving on the farm

by isleofman.com 13th October 2006
The Lord Bishop will preside over a harvest thanksgiving service with a difference on Saturday evening.

The Right Reverend Graeme Knowles will conduct the proceedings in a cattle shed at Ballaleece farm, St John's.

It's a one-off event, organised by the Manx National Farmers' Union and is part of the I Love Manx campaign to promote local produce.

Music will be provided by Crosby Silver Band and all proceeds will go to the Agricultural Benevolent Fund.

The service starts at 7:30pm.
