Lollipop man back in spotlight

by isleofman.com 13th October 2006
The Whitley Council is meeting this morning to discuss the way a disciplinary report, reviewing the suspension of a lollipop man at an Island school, has been handled.

The report was commissioned by the Council after Michael Hunt (pictured) was suspended from his duties outside Marown primary school for helping children cross the road away from his designated crossing point.

The report was completed and sent to the Department of Transport last week.
