Tynwald to consider energy report

The report of the Energy Task Force will be presented at the October sitting of Tynwald, and could be good news for people dreading their energy bills this winter.

It refers to the need for financial support for vulnerable customers and the stresses the importance of help and advice on energy efficiency.

Chief Minister Donald Gelling (pictured) says there is already a scheme providing insulation grants for homeowners, but take-up has been surprisingly low (audio file attached):
