Julie Corkill trial continues

Julie Corkill could take the witness stand to testify in her defence today.

The wife of former Chief Minister Richard Corkill denies four charges of false accounting and two of obtaining a total of ?90,000 by deception.

All charges relate to tourism grants paid out for work on holiday accommodation at the Corkill’s family home Ballacain in Onchan.

This morning, advocate Stuart Neale will sum up the prosecution case against Mrs Corkill (pictured).

She is expected to give her evidence after that summing up.
