Upper Pulrose refurbishment plans

Douglas Corporation is promising residents of Upper Pulrose there is "light at the end of the tunnel" in relation to the upgrading of their homes.

Thursday's meeting of the health and housing committee is set to decide a programme of refurbishment for the hundred and sixty-nine homes, and a presentation will be made to tenants before the end of the year.

However, Health and Housing Committee Chairman Doreen Kinrade says the Corporation needs to know exactly how much money the government will make available for the scheme:
