Minister backs restructuring report

A "breath of fresh air" and potentially invaluable.

That’s how the Health Minister, Steve Rodan, has described far reaching proposals for the restructuring of government.

Unveiled by an independent committee last week, the review of the scope and structure of government has had its critics.

But Mr Rodan (pictured) has welcomed many of the recommendations.

And he says alternative ways of delivering essential services should be considered, so long as they’re well regulated:
