Nursery nurses object to changes

A meeting of nursery nurses this week discussed the profession’s objections to planned changes proposed by the Department of Education.

The meeting put a number of points into a presentation which will be given to the Director of Education next week.

Bernard Moffatt, regional organiser of the Transport and General Workers says a working group has been set up to represent the nurses.

That group will now go on to meet the department for talks on the dispute:
