Rosemary Burnett, prosecuting, said at least nine 999 calls had been made by the defendant to police headquarters, but only one was classed as necessary.
The defendant was spoken to and was full of remorse at the time.
At 8pm on September 5th, Hamilton persuaded an elderly gentleman to give her a lift home from Anagh Coar. She then asked him to go to a local store and purchase alcohol and cigarettes. She told him when he returned with the goods that she had the wrong bank card, and told him he should go to the chip shop in Anagh Coar which was owned by her husband and he would give her the money.
However the chip shop owner said he did not know the woman, and when the gentleman returned to his car the defendant had left.
Police attended her home and Hamilton admitted she had asked the man to purchase the goods.
Mr Montgomery said he noted that Hamilton was in breach of a suspended sentence.
She was bailed until October 27th.
