Bio-fuel station to open

by isleofman.com 4th October 2006
The Island is about to get it's first bio-fuel station.

It will open at Fairy Hill Cottage Filling Station in Laxey, which was forced to close earlier this year after it's suppliers of petrol decided delivery to the forecourt was no longer viable.

The station will be supplied by local company Bio-Mann Ltd, formed by business men Andrew Smith and Phil Diment.

Andrew says the idea for the station came up when he heard of previous owner Ruby Midghall's plight. (clip 1)

Mr Diment says as the name suggest, the new fuel is less harmful to the environment (clip 2)
