Vandals hit Douglas school

Staff, pupils and parents at Cronk Y Berry Primary School in Douglas arrived at school yesterday (Monday) morning to be greeted by graffiti and destruction.

Every picnic bench in the school's outside classroom had been daubed with blue spray paint and one other bench and table had been completely smashed.

Vandals had also spray painted a large area of one of the playground's walls.

Anyone who has any information is asked to contact Willaston Police Station on 674744

Headteacher Rob Sellors says the school's pupils have been particularly affected:
