Gaming boom despite fears

There may be worrying times for online gaming with the arrest of several key company figures in America, but the Island is seeing a gaming boom.

Head of e-gaming development Bill Mummery says there has been a 30 percent rise in e-gaming license applications.

Mr. Mummery (pictured) says recent events in Europe and in the US has highlighted the need for operators to be located in a well regulated jurisdiction with strong regulations.

And he says while events in the US are unwelcome, there’s no need to worry unduly:
