Alcohol projects for schools

The Isle of Man Alcohol Advisory Service provides more than just counselling and support.

That's according to the service's Deputy Manager, Kay Mylchreest, who says it also organises meetings and workshops, as well as setting up projects for the Island's schools.

It uses peer teaching to get advice and messages across effectively, this year to schoolchildren and last year to carers of people with alcohol and drug dependencies.
