Hottest September

Last month broke records at the Met Office as the hottest September since records began.

In 60 years, there hasn’t been one warmer – but you’d be forgiven for not noticing.

There were no spectacularly hot days, but the average temperature for last month is two degrees higher than the previous record.

Neil Young of Ronaldsway Met Office says the temperature rise hasn’t been startlingly obvious:
