Sharpe memorial returned

The father of a 4 year-old girl killed in a road traffic accident last year has spoken of his relief after thieves returned a memorial dedicated to her.

Hanaa Sharpe attended the Tiny Tykes Nursery on Windsor Road in Douglas and, after she died from a fractured skull in August 2005, staff and parents bought a wishing well, two seats and a bench in her memory.

They were stolen from outside the nursery sometime between Friday and Monday but have now been returned undamaged and placed next to Hanaa’s grave.

Her father Keith is relieved those responsible have shown they have a conscience:
