Parkinson's Disease not caused by allergies

Allergies do not lead to Parkinson's disease.

That's according to the Chairman of the Isle of Man Branch of the Parkinson's society, Pamela Shimwell Mayo.

Early last month a national newspaper claimed that rhinitis sufferers were up to three times more likely to develop the disease.

But Mrs Shimwell Mayo says the article was scaremongering and should not have been published:
