Preparations are well underway for what's being billed 'The Community Event of the Year' at the Villa Marina in Douglas this weekend.

The Manx Life exhibition - being promoted by Manx Radio - brings together local businesses, the public services and some of the Island's most talented entertainers.

Displays and demonstrations will be staged in the Villa gardens, while talented singers, musicians and dancers will perform in the Royal Hall.

Elsewhere, dozens of trade stalls and interactive displays featuring a wide range of the Island's businesses, both large and small.

Manx Radio's Business Director, John Marsom, says the Station's played a bigger part than ever this year (audio file attached):

The event takes place between 10am and 5pm on Saturday and Sunday.
