Hand luggage restrictions relaxed

by isleofman.com 21st September 2006
There's some good news for air travellers today.

Hand luggage restrictions are being relaxed at all UK airports and here in the Isle of Man.

That means from tomorrow, the ban on people carrying large bags and musical instruments onto aircraft, is to be lifted.

But the restriction on carrying all but essential liquids remains.

Director of Operations at Isle of Man Airport Philip Paine says they are following the UK's lead on security.
