Weather figures

by isleofman.com 18th September 2006
Anyone who heard an early morning weather forecast on BBC radio might have been surprised to hear that the Island was allegedly the sunniest place in the British Isles yesterday (Sun).

It was claimed that Ronaldsway recorded some 11.5 hours of sunshine, despite the fact that the Island was rather grey and damp for most of the morning.

However the mystery has now been solved. It seems whilst the Island was the sunniest place on SATURDAY, London Weather Centre had placed the Island's Saturday report into their Sunday list by mistake!!
