Manx productivity ahead of UK

As the Isle of Man's population continues to grow, so does productivity according to new figures released by Treasury.

Gross Domestic Product, which is the value of a nation's goods and services, is currently 10% higher than that in the United Kingdom and almost 25% higher than the European Union average.

However, inflation rates don't paint quiet so rosy a picture despite being lower than the U.K.'s.

Minister Allan Bell says he realises energy costs are of major concern:
