Binge drinking focus groups

The Isle of Man DHSS is playing its part in the Drug and Alcohol Strategy's latest initiative.

The department's "Choice" campaign has taken a pro-active approach, putting promotional material in pubs and clubs to highlight the dangers of binge drinking.

Isle of Man College students have also got involved, taking part in focus groups to find out their opinions and attitudes towards the issue.

DHSS Senior Health Promotion Officer Dawn Henley said the response to the groups has been very positive:
