Royal yacht visits Island

by isleofman.com 14th September 2006
The Norwegian royal yacht, the Norge, is paying a visit to the Isle of Man.

The vessel arrived in Douglas around midday, but the king and queen are not onboard.

The crew is having a break in the Island before setting off for the Irish Republic, to pick up the royal couple, on Sunday.

The mine-sweeper Alta, from the Norwegian navy, will escort the Norge on the trip.
