Ramsey hospital reassurance

Definitely not for closure!

That is the message staff and management from Ramsey Cottage Hospital will try to relay to the public tomorrow (Friday) and Saturday.

They will be in Shoprite car park on Bowring Road in Ramsey amid concerns over the hospital’s future.

The loss of overnight facilities caused a furore three years ago and, despite Tynwald voting to restore 24 hour emergency cover in March last year, the funds have not yet been found.

Hospital manager Brian Pressley says it’s important to provide reassurance:
