Carpet shop vandalised

by isleofman.com 13th September 2006
Police say they’d like to hear from anybody who witnessed a vandalism attack on a Douglas shop that could have been deliberately planned.

Vandals broke a window, then threw a large amount paint through it, damaging stock and flooring at Carpets of Man in Finch Road.

The incident happened between 6pm on Sunday and 7am on Monday.

Inspector Richard Power says the attack doesn’t look like a mindless piece of criminal damage and is appealing for information to catch those responsible.

If you have any information, you can contact police on 631212 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
