Archallagan plans to be lodged

by isleofman.com 13th September 2006
It’s unlikely plans for a controversial landfill at Archallagan plantation will be lodged before the end of the month.

The Department of Local Government and Environment has confirmed the position.

Earlier this year, Archallagan came out on top of a number of possible sites for a landfill facility, despite concerns by a protest group over the site's suitability.

Opponents of the scheme have vowed to fight against the plans.
