Nurses meeting

by isleofman.com 11th September 2006
A meeting of the Island's 120 qualified nursery nurses will take place tomorrow (Tues) to try and make headway in an ongoing dispute.

They are increasingly unhappy with pay and terms for their employment, and have voiced concern at the erosion of differentials after other education support staff were given pay rises.

The meeting, which will be held at Ballacottier school at 4pm on Tuesday, will decide what action - if any - the nursery nurses are prepared to take to solve the issue.
