Record low tide

by isleofman.com 10th September 2006
One of the lowest tides on record was at 8.00AM this morning (Sunday)

According to Ronaldsway's Met Office the tide could have been even lower if it were not for the high pressure system which is reducing the effect.

A number of people took advantage of the low tides to walk out to the Tower of Refuge.

There could be potential problems in October with high tides at half past midnight on the 8th and ten past one am on the ninth.
