Flower beds vadalised
Vandals have ruined the later summer flower displays at Noble's Park in Douglas.

Flower beds and borders near the bowling green and cafe were left trashed after vandals trampled through them earlier this week.

Months of careful work by the Parks Department has now been lost - and with it a colourful backdrop to this weeks' bowls festival.

Parks Superintendent for Douglas Corporation Kevin Bott says staff are dismayed as the plant displays were at their peak:
