Lost Soles campaign on the road

A new road safety campaign aims to encourage people to train to improve their driving skills.

The Lost Souls Roadshow which started today features more than 50 pairs of shoes, one for every driver killed in accidents on the Island's roads in the last six years.

Advice on advanced driver training will be available from the mobile display which will be in Peel tomorrow, Ramsey on Monday and Port Erin on Tuesday.

Road Safety Manager Gordon Edwards says the aim of the display is to urge people to take advantage of post-test training (audio file attached):
