'Brassed off' at the Gaiety

by isleofman.com 6th September 2006
The Gaiety Theatre is set to play host to a production from the silver screen.

The Manx Legion Players will be preforming 'Brassed Off', an adaptation of the award winning 1994 film, in November.

It's about a coal mine in a northern English village which may close and in turn lead to the end of the miners' brass band.

The production is being directed by Manx Radio Presenter, Alex Brindley, and auditions are being held this evening.

He says being able to play an instrument as well as act would be a bonus:
