Family of Nimrod crash victim pays tribute

The family of one of the airmen who died in a plane crash in Afghanistan live in the Isle of Man.

Flight Lieutenant Allan James Squires was one of 14 servicemen killed when an RAF Nimrod crashed near Kanadahar at the weekend.

His parents live in Colby and have flown to Scotland where he was based.

In a short statement a spokesman for the family said it was a great loss, and he would be sadly missed.
