Stiff competition for TT 2007

by isleofman.com 4th September 2006
The man responsible for the fastest ever lap on a road race circuit says a number of riders are capable of challenging John McGuinness for the big TT honours next year.

Ian Hutchinson (pictured) last month produced a lap of 130.535mph at the Dundrod National Road Races, ensuring the Mountain Course is no longer the fastest road race circuit in the world.

Guy Martin also lapped at over 130 miles per hour.

Hutchinson says this proves McGuinness will have competition next summer.
